About SNCR:
A global, nonprofit think tank
dedicated to the advanced study of new
communications tools, technologies and emerging
modes of communication & their effect on traditional
media, professional communications, business &
society.
About Girls For A Change:
A nonprofit organization that catalyzes professional
women to support urban middle & high school girls to
become social change makers and innovators, by
empowering them to design, lead, fund and
implement social change projects that tackle
problems they face in their neighborhoods. GFC
provides the tools, resources and support girls need
to move from being spectators to being leaders.
About BlogHer:
BlogHer's mission is to create an opportunity for all
kinds of women bloggers to pursue exposure,
education, and community. The organization was
formed in early 2005 by Lisa Stone, Elisa Camahort
and Jory Des Jardins to answer the question, "Where
are the women bloggers?" The group's first effort, a
sold-out inaugural conference in July 2005, has given
rise to a grassroots organization, the BlogHer
Network, and a second conference scheduled for July
28-29, 2006. For more information, please see:
